4 months old!

This post is a little delayed! Needless to say we've been a little busy!

Presley turned 4 months old on July 2nd! We can hardly believe it. She is just more fun to be around every day. There is always something new with her.

At 4 months she:

Weighs 14 lbs.
Just had her first ear infection, hopefully it's the last! It was over quickly with the help of antibiotics
Rolls over
Plays with her toes
Sleeps almost through the night, waking up every once in a while
Likes her thumb more than a pacifier
Loves it when we sing to her
Is not a big fan of her car seat
Makes lots of noises
Smiles all the time
Still bald... has a little hair on top!

She is such a joy and we're so blessed to have her! Can't wait to see what the next 4 months will bring!

Happy 4th of July!!

This is a day late.... but hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! We are so thankful for those who help make our freedom possible.

We had a low key weekend because I was sick! Updates on everything coming soon!

Tim McGraw / Lady Antebellum

We had our first official "night out" without Presley this past Friday. Of course we've left her during the day when we're at work but haven't gone out at night without her yet.

We went to the Tim McGraw & Lady Antebellum concert at the Intrust Bank Arena with my sister Lindsey and her boyfriend Shane. Lindsey bought our tickets back in February through the Lady A fan club and we didn't find out until right before the concert where out seats where. Well.... THEY WERE 12TH ROW!!! Right next to  the stage. Amazing seats. Let's just say Lindsey and I rubbed Tim's legs a few times when we walked by.  Matt even fist pumped him a couple of times. It was the best concert I'd ever been to (partially because we had such great seats). Now we're spoiled and won't ever want to sit in the cheap seats again!

Thanks to Aunt Erin for babysitting Presley while we went out for the night! It was a much needed break away from diapers and burp rags.

Here are a few pics:

Great-Grandma's

Presley is lucky enough to have 2 Great-Grandma's still with us. She was even more lucky to get to see them both in one day this weekend.

Ma, who is Matt's Grandma lives near Branson, MO and was in town for the weekend. This was the first time she met Presley and she just loved her.

Next up, my Grandma Schafer came over to visit later in the afternoon. She brought Presley her first Cabbage Patch doll. Presley got quite a kick out of it.

3 months!

Yesterday marked Presley's 3 month "birthday". We can't believe she's already been with us for 3 months.. time just flies. Every day with her is more fun than the last. She's getting such a personality and is on the verge of laughing.

She's almost sleeping through the night, usually waking up just once. Loves to be on her tummy and look at her toys and absolutely loves ceiling fans! They make her smile.. it's hilarious.

This photo was taken by my mom... she's always posing Presley and taking cute pictures during the day. We're so thankful she is watching Presley. I know they both have fun.

Tummy Time

At Presley's 2 month check up the doctor told us to work with her on holding her head up better. Well in a few short weeks we've really worked with her and she's doing great! I snapped this picture the other day. I wish I knew what she was thinking here! She looks like such a big girl!

Off to work I go....

I have been so blessed to be at home with Presley for 10 weeks now.... but it's come to an end. I went back to work 1 week ago.

I'm lucky enough to have some great parents that have agreed to watch Presley while she's little and that makes it much easier to leave her each day.

I am also lucky enough to enjoy my job and have missed the people I work with.

Thank goodness for Facebook because I can just get on there and look at pictures of her whenever I want if I start to miss her! Grandma keeps me updated as well of her "activities" each day.

It's been hard trying to get into a routine in the mornings and every day we do things a little different, hopefully at some point we'll have it down and I can actually make it to work on time!
